Why buy an image to hang on your walls when you could become the custom and one of a kind art you look at everyday? This is exactly the intention behind my conceptual fine art sessions. These sessions are slow and intentional. You come into my studio with concept ideas and together we turn your inspiration into a vision that becomes a tangible piece of art to hang on your walls.

This particular client muse wanted an art piece to hang in her bedroom. She came to me with a few images to use as inspiration that created a mood for us to work in. She also didn’t want it to be obvious that it was her in the photographs.

In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of creating art for your home is mystery. An effective way to introduce mystery and fuse ambiguity into an image is to make it faceless. A faceless image obscures individuality and we naturally imagine ourselves to be in the picture. Identifying markers (such as birthmarks, moles, or tattoos) can also be removed in post to add more mystery into the images, although leaving them in can be a flirtatious and subtle way to hint to the viewer the identity of the model.
