This session marked one year since I’ve done client work. The break, prompted by burnout and a desire to focus on personal projects, came to an end in time for a new beginning. Bringing a new baby into an established family dynamic is exciting but always a bit risky; it might change everything we know to be true. This is how I feel about this coming year in regards to photography. The passion to shoot mothers with their children is still here, only it needs to take new forms.
So here’s to new forms; new forms of family, new forms of relating to the world, and new forms of engaging with inspiration.
